Community Health Center Lead Earns Recognition
Beloit Area Community Health Center Medical Lead Michael Potnek is to be recognized by the Medical College of Wisconsin as the college’s Interdisciplinary Colleague of the Year.
Potnek, doctor of nursing practice, will be recognized during a conference set for May.
Potnek joined Community Health Systems in 2024. He has an established career working with nonprofit organizations and community health centers. He has also fostered a relationship with medical students, and with the patients in the Beloit area.
“As the medical lead and provider at an FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Center), he plays a vital role in providing care to underserved populations and ensuring there is health equity and patient-centered care,” said Stacy Reid.
