Family Health Center of Marshfield celebrates 50 years!

CEO Greg Nycz writes on the importance of Community Health Center boards while celebrating 50 years of Family Health Center of Marshfield.

“Reflecting on over 50 years with the Community Health Center movement in our country, I can say with confidence that we, along with some 1,400 like-minded organizations across the country, would not exist today were it not for tens of thousands of civic-minded volunteers who dedicated their time, talent, and passion to help assure a better life for tens of millions in our nation.”

Congratulations on 50 years of service, Family Health Center of Marshfield!

The John H. Renner Wisconsin Idea Award recognizes exceptional commitment to the Wisconsin Idea, a core principle that emphasizes the application of university knowledge and resources to address real-world challenges and improve the lives of people in the state of Wisconsin.

“One of the challenges of the work that we do is that it’s never done, but the possibilities, too, are endless. Together I look forward to building improved models of care, expanding our work in the community, training the healthcare providers of the future, and building a more equitable place to live,” Loving concluded.

Congratulations, Dr. Loving and Access Community Health Centers!
