The John H. Renner Wisconsin Idea Award recognizes exceptional commitment to the Wisconsin Idea, a core principle that emphasizes the application of university knowledge and resources to address real-world challenges and improve the lives of people in the state of Wisconsin.

“One of the challenges of the work that we do is that it’s never done, but the possibilities, too, are endless. Together I look forward to building improved models of care, expanding our work in the community, training the healthcare providers of the future, and building a more equitable place to live,” Loving concluded.

Congratulations, Dr. Loving and Access Community Health Centers!

Congratulations to Family Health La Clinica on 50 years of Service!

On March 28 Noble Community Clinics (formerly Family Health La Clinica) celebrated 50 years of service to people and communities across the state of Wisconsin. Initially, founded as a migrant and seasonal agricultural Health Center, FHLC has expanded from its first mobile clinic to full-service medical, dental, behavioral health, substance use recovery, and massage services at five clinic sites in Wautoma, Mauston, Beaver Dam, Friendship and Stevens Point. Past and present Board members, providers, staff and patients gathered together in Wautoma to share memories, recognize longtime leaders and celebrate the impact and growth from 1,560 patients served in 1973 to 24,657 in 2023.

Congratulations to all who have contributed to FHLC’s incredible mission and service!
