Last week, 14 representatives from Wisconsin CHCs and WPHCA met in DC to advocate for Health Centers and their patients. They met with every member of Wisconsin’s Congressional delegation, including both staff and elected officials, emphasizing the value of Health Centers and the Medicaid program. WPHCA appreciates the ongoing commitment to support CHCs from members across the entire political spectrum, and the time that both CHC staff and Board members spent advocating for long-term federal funding and Medicaid investment. Thank you to representatives from Family Health Center, Noble, Lakeshore, Milwaukee Health Services, Inc, and Progressive Community Health Centers for serving as CHC champions!
