Introducing the Patient Portal Peer Learning Series

MetaStar and WPHCA are excited to present the Patient Portal Peer Learning Series. The four-part series serves as an opportunity for attendees to hear from and discuss with their peers topics like use cases, challenges, and future potential of their Patient Portal. Attendees can learn about different strategies to maximize the use of their Patient Portal. See below to register for any and all of the 4 part series click the links below.

Patient Portal Peer Learning Series: Why Patient Portals Matter  

    • 11am – 12pm Wednesday September 18th
    • Description: Attendees will have the opportunity to share the ROI benefits of the portal, workload/workflow benefits, and the patient benefits of using a patient portal. Discussion will be centered around Staff, workflow, and IT challenges attendees faced with their portal and how they overcame them.

Patient Portal Series: Online Scheduling

    • 11am to 12pm Wednesday September 25th
    • Description: Attendees will hear from a Health Center that uses their patient portal to do online scheduling. Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss if they have looked into using their portal to scheduling, the benefits of online scheduling, and the potential barriers to implementing online scheduling through their patient portal.

Patient Portal Series: Portal Tips & Tricks

    • 11am to 12pm Wednesday October 2nd
    • Description: Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from their peers on different strategies for how they have engaged their patients through the portal. Attendees will have be able to discuss any challenges and benefits to implementing features such as pre visit forms, online billing, Prescription refill requests or updating medical history.

    • 11am to 12pm Wednesday October 9th
    • Description: Attendees will hear from MetaStar on the future of patient portals and how advances in HIT will change how use patient portal and HIT in engage and interact with Patients. Attendees will have the opportunity to share what future opportunities they think could help care team’s engage with their patients.
