1.     Data-Driven Practice Transformation: Understanding the Depth and Breadth of DRVS

An overview of DRVS clinical reporting capacities to drive value and innovation. This webinar will provide a high-level strategy to integrate DRVS into PCA and CHC activities and offer practical and tactical ways to use DRVS to manage patients and populations to help lead your organization to success.

Target Audience: C-suite leaders, QI, clinical coordinators and care team members responsible for population health functionality, HIT, health information management and other Health Center staff involved in data management and reporting, demonstrating or communicating a Health Center’s value

2.     Data Hygiene Plan and Validation Calendar

Learn and discuss strategies to integrate validation into everyday work –it’s not just extra work. Set your Health Center up for success with ongoing data validation from the start using a data hygiene plan that reflects your strategic goals.

3.     Dashboards and Scorecards

Visualizing your data with Dashboard and Scorecard Report tools is a great way to communicate performance and tell a story with your data.  This session will walk through basic design principles as well a guide to help you match the reporting tool and visualization to the intended audience and purpose.

  • State components of good dashboard design and two ways to create a dashboard.
  • Identify three different scorecard views and use cases for your CHC.
  • Illustrate how the use of filters and groups can be used to change the displayed information for specific purposes.


4.     Focus on Diabetes – Using DRVS

Apply the learnings from previous webinars to diabetes and discover how the reporting tools can support your transforming care projects. In addition, you will see how some of your peers are utilizing DRVS to manage their population and how this approach can be easily applied to other chronic conditions.

  • List three ways to identify and track performance for patients with diabetes.
  • Identify the impact of Social Determinants on diabetes outcomes and strategies to begin to monitor interventions.

Announcing Azara DRVS as a Specialized Registry for Meaningful Use Public Health Objective in Year 2018

WPHCA is excited to announce Azara DRVS as a Specialized Registry ready to accept data, to meet the Modified Stage 2 Meaningful Use Public Health Objective for Specialized Registries in 2018.

Azara DRVS has the ability to pull clinical EHR data from participating health centers on a regular basis, and processes this data in order to provide a graphical view of how organizations are performing on specific measures and registries and how they compare to other organizations. All Eligible Professionals (EPs) who actively use WPHCA’s Azara DRVS and use a certified EHR technology to provide data to Azara DRVS can meet the Public Health Objective, Specialized Registry for Modified Stage 2 Meaningful Use (Objective 10: Measure 3).

Azara DRVS can be considered a Quality Improvement Registry that meets the Modified Meaningful Use Stage 2 – Specialized Registry option of the Public Health Objective, which specifies successful ongoing submission of specific case information from a certified EHR technology to a specialized registry for the entire EHR reporting period.
