Wisconsin HealthCorps is a joint AmeriCorps program between the Wisconsin Primary Health Care Association and the Wisconsin Public Health Association, which places members in various community and public health settings to achieve these three goals:
- Promoting access to primary health care
- Providing health education to communities across Wisconsin
- Promoting public and community health workforce development by providing members with an intensive year of service and professional development in a healthcare setting.
Wisconsin HealthCorps receives funding from both the Corporation for National and Community Service and participating Host Sites. Wisconsin HealthCorps is a member of the Wisconsin National and Community Service Board.
